About Anita
Anita Schlarb is a talented Canadian photographer whose love for nature and travel shines through in every image she captures, whether it be birds, animals, nature, or landscapes. She has an exceptional ability to find artistry in nature.
Born in Chatham, Ontario and now based in Ottawa, Anita has always enjoyed outdoor activities. At home, you will likely find her looking for birds while cycling on bike paths, hiking nearby hills and trails, or walking through a majestic forest. While traveling, she loves to watch breathtaking sunsets, and to walk and relax on beautiful sandy beaches.
Her passion for travel has inspired many remarkable and compelling landscape and portrait digital photographs of wild, domestic and aquatic animals, colorful and unusual birds, and scenic landscapes, taken in the Caribbean, several countries of Europe, and many American states and Canadian provinces.
Anita has completed a Bachelor of Music in Education from the University of Ottawa and is a professional piano teacher with decades of experience. She has composed over 150 pedagogical pieces for piano and other instruments, she is an excellent reviewer of her many journeys, and she proudly holds a third degree black belt in Taekwon-Do.
With her love of photographing birds, animals, nature and travel, she has found yet another outlet for her strong creative side and imagination. She is excited to be able to share her enthusiasm for the seasons of life and nature through her digital imagery of spectacular and captivating photography.
